After being in the news for many reasons (majorly about her personal front), Bollywood's darling girl Preity Zinta is back in the news and how! Preity is back in the spotlight for her dedicated professionalism, something that she always has been an epitome of! The news is that the Zinta babe would be now seen in a special song in UTV's and Sohail Khan Production's grand Diwali release Main Aurr Mrs Khanna

Sources close to us said that "Preity was specially made to travel to Dubai for a single day to shoot for the song called 'Happening'. Also that the 'happening' song in question is indeed a delight to watch and is bound to have everyone's foot tapping." The source also added that the production team had to spend a fortune on that single day outdoor shoot for Preity as the film's director Prem Soni required a huge open air theater for the song which they managed to get in Dubai. The same source went onto add that "When Preity and director Prem Soni were brainstorming about the name of the choreographer who could do apt justice to this song, the only name that kept popping in their head was that was of Farah Khan. Not just that,with Farah Khan coming on board, both Prem Soni and Preity were just too happy!

A unit member from the same film informed us that, "Preity had a ten day rehearsal with Farah khan before she started shooting the song and everyday she would rehearse for a whopping 3 hours! She also was on a special diet and hardcore workout and yoga and swimming sessions, with just one basic motive: to be in shape for the song!"

All that we can do is to pat Preity on her back for exhibiting such dedication. Preity…one only hopes that all this dedication and hard work of yours pays you and the film rich dividends. Considering that the visuals of the song bear a striking similarity to the smash-hit 'Kajraare', we also hope that this song goes on to become as big a hit as the Bunty aur Babli number, if not more. We are sure that Preity will agree with us on this one!

SRK to team up with Anubhav Sinha


After making highly acclaimed films like Tathastu and the last release Cash, Anubhav Sinha is now moving on to make an action thriller.

As per sources, Anubhav is putting all his best to make his next film a grand project. And so he has roped in Badshah Khan’s production house- Red Chillies Productions, as a foolproof formula for the success of his ambitious film. It is speculated that SRK has finally signed on the dotted line to do the film “Ra 1′ with Anubhav Sinha. Ra 1 is tipped to be dealing with the intelligence service, where SRK plays a super hero.

With “Ra 1′ Anubhav is probably trying to capture the combined magic of “Om Shanti Om’ and “Don’ in SRK’s last super hit action films.

Aamir Khan to play Superhero Hanuman!


Producer Uru Patel has now zeroed in on Aamir Khan to play Hanuman, though God forbid, not as a monkey God, but as a super-hero who can fly over mountains and skyscrapers and rescue the modern-day Rama from the ravenous Ravans of today’s world.

Hollywood stars Keanu Reeves and Gary Oldman will play Rama and Ravan, respectively. Sita was to be played by Shilpa Shetty. But she has opted out since then. The hunt is on for a new international face to play Sita.

Aamir has been keen to do super-hero film, especially after Hrithik Roshan’s Krissh and Shah Rukh Khan’s forthcoming Ra.1 (where he plays a desi Spiderman). Hanuman will now be played as a super-hero with the best action directors and special-effects experts ensuring Aamir’s safe passage into super-heroism.

The whole project now depends on Aamir’s nod, which he’ll give only after he approves of the script.
The catch is, Aamir’s signature will have to be on every page of the script.

Says a source, “Aamir wants to sign every page of the script to ensure no changes happen during shooting. Only then will he agree to play Hanuman.”

Apparently this is the method of working- signature on every page of the script- that Aamir will adopt in all his future projects, whenever he signs more films. For now it looks like Hanuman will be his first assignment after the blockbuster Ghajini.

Earlier Hanuman was to be directed by Luis Mandoki (of Message In A Bottle fame). Mandoki wrote the first few drafts of the project. But now the chosen director is Chuck Russell whose familiarity with the language of fantasy (Eraser, The Mask, The Scorpion King, Mandrake) qualified him for the job of directing Hanuman.
A hush-hush meeting happened in Los Angeles three months ago at producer Uru Patel’s residence where director Chuck Russell met up with the project’s executive producer Pradeep Guha. The project has now passed into Aamir’s hand and his approval is awaited.

Says Pradeep Guha, “He has been approached. But Aamir will decide after he reads the script.”
Other sources insist that the makers of Hanuman are keen have Aamir on board and ready to comply with all his preconditions.

Once Aamir signs the film formally, the first schedule of Hanuman is expected to be held in Rajasthan, at the end of the year. The rest of the film will be shot at Hollywood studios.
